Student Success Statement

"I wasnt trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what is right."

     I think that this is a good statement because everthing goes good if you do the right thing. I know that he was first coach to break the world record. How did he do that you might ask. Well he accomplish it by doing the right thing, also by having a good team. 

Karma will take care of itself

"Its not about how to achieve your dreams. Its about how to lead your life the right way, the karma (destiny, fortune, good luck) will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you."

Reflection: I think that this statement is definitley true because life has its own ways. Karma is an example of when you do something bad, it will come to you. If we live life the way it is supposed to be then everything will go well. Each person in this world has their own destiny. Since its like that then you have to carefully decide on how your life is going to be. Life can be hard but we have to learn how to manage it. 

Educating the body, mind, and character

"Of all the work that is done or that can be done for our country, the greatest is that od educating the body, mind, and above all the character, giving spiritual and moral training to those who in a few years are themselves to decide the destinies of the nation."

    I think that this is true because we use the body, mind, and character mostly everyday. These three thing is what we need to educate in life especially during school. Why because once its educated enough then you in person will know how to do lots of things.Once we are old enough then we will understand why we needed to educate these three things. Every day we are educating these three things because every day we learn new things. Then our body, mind, and character will react normaly to everything that comes at us. These three things will need moral traing during our lives.

Volunteer Opportunities

    Several of opportunities are:

• Homeboy Industries: serves high risk, formerly ganged involved men or women with free services and programs.

• Midnight Mission: serves the homeless people through counselng, education, and job placement.

• The Giving Spirit: assemble and personally distributing survival kits to the children women and familys living on the street.

• The Richstone Family Center: serves by preventing and treating child abuse strengthening families, and preventing violence in families, school, and communities.

      To apply to these positions all you need to do is go to the event and just ask that you want to volunteer. Some of these positions might ask you to write a little application. But it is really easy to join.

Body- Mind- Spirit

    "Take responsibility for your own  physical, mental, and spiritual well-being."

    I think that this is true because we all have the decision to take responsibilities. For example if you dont then almost everything that will happen, will be pretty much bad. It is bad when it becomes a bad spiritual situation in my opinion. When you be resonsible of things that are important there is no reason for things to go wrong. For example if you are responsible to take care of a baby then there is no reason to worry. When you are responsible for you physical part of your body then you dont need to worry about diseases that you can get.

      Reflection: My thoughts about about the lausd services are positive. I think that this is good for students because many students need these kind of opportunities. Like many students are in athletics or want to be athletics. When i was in middle school i would do the beyond the bell. This service is neat because there are programs to do before school and after school. Transportation is really good because there are many kids who doesnt have a ride and thats why we need school transportation. Last but not least summer school is in my opinion the most important because most students need it to get an extra bit more of education.

  I think that this is true because to accomplish something you have to have lots of courage and not give up. For example if you want to stop bullying. You will have to have courage in order to stop it. For that to happen you have to first start and continue. Now if yhe courage stops then pretty much you wont do anything in life. Another example would be, lets say that you get a problem with you boss. You have to have courage and stand up for your self in order achieve something in life. We all courage in our lives because with courage we can do anything. Now if you dont have courage then you will never achieve anything in life. This is why we need to have courage all time in order to do something.

Orthodontics

  Orthodontics, also known as orthodontics and dent facial orthopedics, was the first specialty created in the field of dentistry. An orthodontist is a specialist who has undergone special training in a dental school or college after him or her has graduated in dentistry. It was established by the efforts of pioneering orthodontists such as Edward Angle and Norman William Kingsley. The specialty deals primarily with the diagnosis, prevention and correction of malposition teeth and the jaws.

Salary: $206,190

Education: Undergraduate degree, professional degree, and post-degree

Reflection: I would not like to do this because it looks very complicated. Also because dentistry was never my future job.

''When you tell one lie, it leads to another''

I think that this is very true because when you lie once you will lie twice. Lies are almost everywhere becuase most people lie in this world. For example some one would lie to get something out of it. Or some one would lie to do something out of it. Another example would be me i use to lie alot for really dum reasons. Now that im more mature i dont really lie i just rather say the truth. Lies can rarely be use for good but most of the time is bad because its a lie. When you tell a lie the other person will believe and thats bad becuase its not true.

School break days

What i did was celebrate christmas in my house with my family. I ate a one of a kind dinner that was delicious. Hanged out with a friend. I went to Las Vegas for a week and it was a really good experience. I had lots of fun and hanged out with girls. During Las Vegas i met a couple of girls and thats all the people that i met. When i got home i watched a couple of movies called Mardi Gras, The Bachelor Party. The next day a friend and i went to go skate at a few skate parks. Some Ctr experiences was that i help an elderly women with the groceries. Another one would be when i helped my father do some cleaning in the house.
